I AM YOU

Help and support.
It is a new chapter
In my life.

It is a humble
But richly rewarding.

I have touched levels
I have never felt before.

I am in places
I have never been.

Sometimes a depression
Or a sadness or a pain
Sweeps over me
Since September 11.

I cannot even articulate it...

But I know we have
To ride the storms out.

We HAVE TO KEEP ON
Going on inspite
Of the obstacles and the foes.

I breathe

I feel pain

I dance

I cry

I sweat

I crawl sometimes

I am weak for moments
But I stay in the Rain.

I water the seeds
I plant for tomorrow.

When every cell is in travail
When turmoil tries to be my master
I do not surrender.

I cling to this dirt
This Earth
This gigantic hostile
Friendly
Little globe.

God

Life could be so beautiful
If we just opened up
To Eternity.

If we did not hide
Behind positive thinking
But face the enemy
Stare him down
Eyeball to eyeball

WHISPER

BECAUSE WE DO NOT
HAVE THE STRENGTH TO SPEAK.

I AM YOU
YOU ARE ME.

THE MADNESS HAS TO STOP.

IT IS OUR FLESH
OUR BLOOD.
