GOODNESS

One of the truths I find in Life is the Good that you do for others blesses you.
The tenderness that you give to the world
comes back
to you a thousand fold.
Goodness is power!
Goodness is strength!
Goodness calls forth our best-
Our most concentrated efforts-
Our most focused energy-
Goodness must be lived and practiced every day-
Goodness is not weak
Goodness encourages us not to be lazy-
Goodness cares not just about itself-
It cries out for every hungry child-
Every displaced refugee-
It cannot rest permanently
when others are starving
Or are in serious deep pain-
Displaced-
Goodness runs very deep
It comes from that part of mankind and Womankind
That wants peace-
A stopping of the violence-
Safe streets-
Goodness is something to believe in and Live-
To experience-
Goodness is a place to restore ones dignity-
A point in awareness to move out from-
Goodness that is centered and based in reality-
Goodness that is demonstrable in deeds and actions
That meet the human needs-
This is the goodness that we must live-
This is the goodness
That we must pass onto our children-

Goodness that is alive in these chaotic times-
Goodness that we must pursue
Despite the bleak pictures in the world
Goodness is the Life Saver-
Goodness alone can bring about a transformation-
That must be born anew in each one of us-
Goodness like this is uplifting
Elevating
Goodness that we can do today.
Goodness that reaches out across the Globe
Opening new paths of awareness
New avenues of communication
That can make our lives more sane.
